my story

I started with a practical question: how can we make work work better?

For more than a decade I’ve been answering it, first inside processes and systems, then alongside women rebuilding their careers, and now with organizations redesigning work for the AI era.

Seeing work as a system

I began my career in business process re-engineering and systems analysis, leading current-state and future-state redesigns across ERP, BPMS and enterprise software projects. I learned to see work as a system of tasks, decisions and handoffs, and to find exactly where it gets stuck.

Then I became a mother

In 2019, motherhood changed how I thought about work, ambition, caregiving and the structures that shape opportunity. MamaNest grew into HerCareerLink, Her Career Conference and Her Future Ready: a mission to help women navigate change and build economic agency through entrepreneurship and technology.

My TEDx talk, Future-Proofing Women, Starting with Moms, carries the belief behind it all. Preparing women for the future isn’t only about new skills. We also have to question how skills are valued and how work is structured around people’s lives.

Where my two worlds meet

Working with women, I kept seeing that their challenges were connected to how work is organized. Individual AI readiness stalls when workflows, roles and expectations stay the same. That’s where business process re-engineering and human agency came together, and why I co-founded Intelligent Nest Institute.

Today I help nonprofits and mission-driven organizations ask better questions than “what can we automate?” What should be eliminated, simplified or augmented? How should roles, responsibilities and decisions change? And how do we create value without losing the human judgment, relationships and accountability that matter?

Who benefits when work changes, and who gets to shape that change?

The question that brought me here, and the one I never lose sight of.
